The definitive MTM tailoring experience

Dear reader, if you are weighing up whether to take the plunge and spend a not inconsiderable sum of money on an AskOkey garment, I implore you to have faith, put your doubt to one side, and trust their process. This is money well-spent. I ordered a Fox Bros charcoal grey flannel single-breasted suit which I received last week and it is a better fit than MTM suits I have bought from mainstream Jermyn Street/Savile Row tailors. It is extremely comfortable. Okey's old-school, traditional drape cut is a marvel which cannot be found elsewhere at this price point. This is the best suit I have ever owned, and the only example of a traditionally-tailored true drape cut that I have found after years and years of searching. Even mainstream central London tailors that promise 'high rise' trousers and 'generous cuts' come nowhere close to what Okey offers. Wearing this suit, one understands immediately what suits are meant to look and feel like and the inadequacy of all of my other tailored suits has become immediately clear. The AI measuring tool is extremely (and surprisingly) accurate, their staff are extremely responsive (and helpful should one want to discuss customisation options), the delivery time is quick, the fit, comfort, and quality of the product is second to none. This is the definitive MTM tailoring experience. You are offered customisation options (lapel width, trouser width, rise, break, etc) that offer genuine scope for customisation - not just minor adjustments that barely differ from the standard block, which in my experience is what mainstram tailors offer at the MTM level. I practically never leave reviews for online purchases - I felt compelled to in this instance because of how surprised and impressed I am by Okey's oustanding product and service. Never did I think that an AI measuring tool could produce a suit which fits perfectly and is cut like it is from the 1930s. An outstanding company which I cannot recommend more highly. This is the future of tailoring.

MTM Suit

I recently purchased an MTM single-breasted suit, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience or the final result. From the beginning, the customer service was excellent. The team was professional, attentive, and helpful throughout the process, and I always felt like I was in good hands. The suit took around 7 weeks from purchase to delivery, which was well worth the wait considering the quality and level of customization involved. The fit is incredible. It sits exactly the way I hoped it would, and somehow manages to look sharp and elegant while still being incredibly comfortable. I can move naturally, stand confidently, and wear it without feeling restricted or uncomfortable. That combination is something I’ve honestly never experienced with a suit before. Every detail, from the cut and structure to the finishing and overall comfort, makes it clear how much craftsmanship went into the suit. It feels genuinely made for me rather than simply being an off-the-rack suit that happens to fit. The quality, fit, service, and attention to detail have all exceeded my expectations. This is easily the best suit I’ve ever owned, and I couldn’t be happier with it. I’ll definitely be coming back for another one.

AskOkey is the greatest suit I've ever worn..

I bought my first "real" suit through AskOkey MTM. Theres zero doubt I was nervous at first. However, when I first tried on the suit all my doubt melted away. This suit is phenomenal, it is a functional work of art. And what made the experience better was the attention to customer and 1 to 1 experience with the customer service this Company provides. Shortly after recieving my suit I had the opportunity to speak with the Team about potential alterations or changes for my next order. However, nothing needed changing. This suit was perfect out of the box and the quality is amazing.

If You Want the Best, Don't Go With the Rest.

Some Years ago I became interested in Mens tailoring. Suits seemed for lack of a better word Awesome. The Prestige, the formality, the legacy, and the sharp looks lured me in and grabbed hold of my interest. However, after purchasing my first suit it became apparent to me something wasn’t right. While I looked good; my internal voice just said egh… so I kept looking trying ready to wear jackets at a frankly vast assortments of places. Even on a trip to England purchasing two suits that I thought particularly complimented my frame. While my tastes improved along with the cuts of the suits something still wasn't fitting into place. Until one day while watching youtube I came across Proff and the Ask Okey youtube channel, and suddenly everything slid into place. That vague dissatisfaction I had with my tailoring had an answer with the wide legged trousers, high arm hole jackets, and massive lapels of Ask Okey. Ask Okey is (to my knowledge) the only exclusively online tailor. A concept that seems terrifying especially in the world of bespoke and mtm suits where the entry price begins at two thousand dollars. The idea of submitting a few pictures of yourself and having AI take your measurements as well as analyze your posture seems almost like a litmus test of your capability to make wise financial decisions. This method wholeheartedly scared me away from the brand for years. Years that I spent running from tailor to tailor getting suit after suit to fill the drape cut hole that I saw in my wardrobe, without the perceived risk of an online tailor. I'll save you the nitty gritty suit to suit details. Nothing matched up with the expectations I had. Finally after eyeing the website for years and filling out the suit customizer a frankly embarrassing amount of times, I decided to take the plunge. I decided on the purchase of a mid grey double breasted suit, a bold and powerful yet still slightly understated choice. The staff was friendly (especially Tim) providing updates on the working of my order as well as in production pictures of my suit. Finally after what had felt like eons for me (it was only seven weeks) It finally arrived actually a couple days ahead of schedule thanks to DHL. With the moment finally upon me I donned my suit. I was left shocked… Not only did it fit better than any ready to wear suit Id purchased. Its fit was better than anything I'd had tailored to me, even better than my other mtm suits made in person. And Its quality was equally up to snuff with the high praise I gave the fit. I was truly stunned at the eloquence, quality, and looks of the suit. Not only was it nicer than everything I had it fit better and was honestly great value for the money. A truly phenomenal addition to my wardrobe. The Ask Okey cut is certainly bold and unique. Its a strong flavor of tailoring that is not for everyone. However if you are one of the individuals out there that like I see themselves in modern tailoring only to think egh… If profs suits speak to the part of you that all other tailors have failed to. Take the plunge. In my experience their systems are nothing but amazing for crafting a well fitting garment. And I can promise you; you'll spend a lot more money trying to get tailor after tailor to come close than you will on one of these suits. This suit was a final parting gift from my father Before he passed away, and I'd like to truly say that I am beyond happy that this is one of the last things he gave me to remember him by. So thank you to him, for Making this happen. And thank you to the Ask Okey team for creating something worthy of being a parting gift. I Love you Dad!

A jacket or a piece of art?

There is always this moment when you press the order button and the moment when the delivery man rings at the door. Expectations and hopes are huge. It is with shaking hands that you open the brown and yellow box... and the result was just beautiful. First and foremost the client service experience: as far as online shops are concerned this is by far the best. The AskOkey team is always reachable and you'll never wait days to get your answers, you'll get them actually within minutes very often. It's so good that you feel you have the whole AskOkey team in the leaving room with you! Most brick and mortar shops doesn't achieve this level of client experience. It makes you even forget that you are ordering online. Then on the jacket itself, the construction is absolutely beautiful, a pure piece of art. By wearing it you clearing understand alls the principles Proff is defending with Pete on his videos. All of course in a style that is absolutely unique in the market. Being a "sartorial aficionado" for many years I can say this is the most qualitative offer out there. As the quote says, I'll be back!

I ordered a suit from AskOkey

I ordered a suit from AskOkey. I’d been thinking about it for quite some time. For a long time, I didn’t trust the AI measurement system. But after seeing so many reviews, I took the plunge and ordered a suit. The consultation service was out of this world. I got a call right away and scheduled an appointment with Hashim. He advised me on the fabric selection. Shortly after placing the order, I took my AI measurements. After that, all I had to do was wait for the suit to arrive. Now I’m wearing the suit and writing this review with a smile. I’ve visited so many men’s outfitters with their own tailor shops, and I can tell there’s a world of difference between the suit from Ask Okey and the others. The fabrics are incredible and the cut is perfect. At the time, I was worried that people would criticize the suit because it isn’t the “modern” cut, but it’s exactly the opposite. You feel so incredibly good and confident in this suit. The proportions of the jacket to the pants are so perfectly balanced that it simply creates an extremely harmonious overall look. I’m already looking forward to my sports jacket, which I also ordered. Huge praise to everyone on the entire team! A special thank you to: Naseer, Hashim, Tim, and Okey. I worked with all of them throughout the entire process. I'm now 100% convinced, a huge fan, and will be a customer for life!

Polo Coat Review

For context, this was my first time purchasing from AskOkey & First time buying Bepsoke + my first time purchasing clothing cut in this way. I had my worries and doubts about how it would turn it out. But with amazing service and experience, I received a coat that is beyond how great I thought it would be. In summation with AskOkey you are treated to a First Class experience and in the end you get a fantastic article of tailoring. The whole process was worth it. 11 out of 10, A+ all round

Great looking style and superb costumer service

My first AO buy was an MTM suit. I was one of the first costumers, and I bought it before I had seen any costumer reviews or photos. The fit was suprisingly good for being done remote by AI. It wasn't 100 %, and I didn't expect it to neither. The AO team advised me on some alterations, and refunded my costs at a local tailor. The suit is comfortable, well made, and the fabric (Innocencia) seems good. I love the style - that's why I came here! After alterations, the fit is still not a 100 %. This is partly because of the alterations tailor, partly because I didn't have the knowledge on what to ask for, and partly because of limits in the original design. But I don't think anybody should expect their first MTM suit to be 100 %. If you consider ordering a MTM suit from anyone, I would recommend going for one of the cheaper fabrics on your first order, and let that be a foundation to improve in future orders. Or go bespoke, if you have the means and want a closer to perfect fit. My second order was a pair of MTM trousers. The AO team really took their time to discuss choice of fabrics and design with me. We agreed on some changes from the first pair. I got what I had asked for (amongst other things, a higher waist), but I wasn't quite happy with it. Also, they had made some miscalculations in the fit, like a too narrow hip. So they offered me to send it to their bespoke workshop and remake it for free. A courrier collected it from our house today. So, my journey with AO so far hasn't been super smooth. Tailoring is both difficult and expensive. I feel like I've got what I can expect. What makes this a five star review, however, is the extraordinary costumer serivce. The team members are so polite and take their time with you. For my second order, I feel they really went the extra mile. I'll definitely come back for more orders in the future!

Quality accessories worth every cent

Ordered a pair of AO braces. They are fantastic. I’m very pleased with the build quality. I would recommend these braces to anyone who wants to invest great pair once and never have to buy another set again. Small bonus, I received them in under two weeks, from the UAE to Canada. Found that remarkably quick considering global shipping problems at the time.

Best suit I've ever bought! Thank you, AskOkey!

I recently bought my first MTM AskOkey suit and I am beyond ecstatic. I was so satisfied with the customer service. William Nguyen was very helpful and kind in his service. He contacted me directly via email and we discussed details of the suit (how full-cut I wanted the trousers and chest of the jacket, the rise of the trousers, etc.) The suit arrived in 6 weeks and fit perfectly right out of the box. It came with a beautiful wooden hanger with the AskOkey emblem. The experience felt very personal and exclusive and now I can't imagine choosing any other tailor or company to make any clothing piece of men's wear for my wardrobe. I am a musician and looking good isn't an option, it is part of my job and part of my creative expression. My classic menswear journey started…

My classic menswear journey started with the educational videos of AskOkey. Till date, they continue to educate me. AskOkey team has been able to create a brand and superb product from scratch against the toxic rivalry and secrecy practiced in the industry; because at the end of the day it is about a great product for the customer of this century and not just competitiveness as per the old book. And they have their own style, which is their USP. Not everyone has to agree; but we can surely appreciate the effort. In that sense, they have been able to build a large community of classic menswear enthusiasts that values both content and substance. I have personally learnt much from the Proff and team, and so has the larger base of subscribers, customers, and the discord community. It is not just tailoring; but a whole package of product, service, tech, and media model. Let that sink in for a while! Overall, the AO team is spectacular.

They provide consistent feedback, encouragement, insight, and support through any journey of getting a garment made, styling said garment or garments you already own, and providing critique on where you could improve. Their discord is a great community for like minded individuals in classic menswear. I am constantly holding great conversations, debates, and discussions about any number of topics around menswear. Whether it be where to improve, collar lengths, spreads, to the rise and hem opening of your trousers. The conversation always leaves you with more knowledge than you had before you engaged in it. I love the community and the brand, and can not wait for future endeavors with them.

I had a pair of trousers made in a tweed. Tim and Willie were my consultants and really made sure that my trousers were perfect for me. They were always available to answer any of my questions. AskOkey - Top Tier Drape Cut Suits

I love this company and the work they do! No one does it better for English drape cut suits! I have a pair of red and blue suspenders from them and I love them! They have braided ends for longevity and they look fantastic. I am also on the company discord and have found the AO team and the other members to be very helpful and provide great insight for clothing. Perfect experience

I made a lot of research before starting my classic menswear journey. The Askokey cut was the only one, which in my view, represents the classic style in the best way and in which I could find myself. I started first with a MTM suit and then ordered several Bespoke garments, because I was already convinced with the cut and style. The customer service is perfect. You feel more than just a customer. Bespoke client experience

My first commission started in December 2024, specifically a dark grey sharkskin three piece suit. The process started with nailing the pattern through test of fits, and midway the style was altered a bit because William knew I have a liking for the bloomed out 1930s Hollywood drape cut. The finished suit came with some collapsing in the chest of the coat, but they took it back and dialed in the amount of canvassing needed to maintain the chest's structure. After all was said and done, the collapsing was resolved. It now drapes smoothly and it has the desired silhouette. I have commissioned another three piece suit (bespoke) and I will likely remain a regular client in the future.

A fantastic MTM experience.

Everyone I interacted with before and after my purchase has been very professional but personable, they truly care for their customers and the products they provide. I'm genuinely surprised with the level of accuracy with the AI measuring widget they use, I was a bit skeptical at first, but very pleased with the outcome that came of it. And even if they use an AI to help speed along the process of making their beautifully crafted suits, they absolutely blow every other suit maker/tailor I've used or considered using with their classic cuts, ACTUAL classic cuts. In this world of modernity, men ABSOLUTELY need to consider AskOkey to help us return to our roots for men's wear.

Classic Style

I'm very pleased with my AskOkey suit, which I ordered in the summer and which has traveled the world with me since. If you find yourself feeling it's impossible to find a nice, classically cut suit out there...this is the one you've been waiting for. It nearly goes without saying that the AskOkey cut looks amazing; but I'm also delighted with the small details on my suit that testify to its superior quality (like the boutonniere loop on the back of the lapel). AskOkey does not overlook details and they don't skimp on fabric. I'll also say that the AI-generated measurements are surprisingly good. I was skeptical at first, but the AskOkey team communicated well with me throughout the process and made sure I received a garment that fits better than any I've owned up until now. I look forward to ordering my next garment from AskOkey. It'll cost a lot, but it'll be worth it.
